Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

Overview

Vitals is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect (very little), how we use it, and your rights as a user. The short version: we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. All calculations happen entirely in your browser.

Information we do not collect

When you use any calculator on Vitals — whether it's BMI, TDEE, body fat, protein intake, or any other — the values you enter stay on your device. They are never sent to our servers, never logged, and never stored anywhere outside your browser.

We do not collect:

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run and improve the site:

Cookies

Vitals itself uses one cookie: a theme preference cookie that remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. This cookie is stored only on your device and is not used for tracking.

Google AdSense may set its own cookies for ad personalisation. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.

Data sharing

We do not sell, share, rent, or disclose your personal information to any third parties. We have no personal data to share.

Children's privacy

Vitals is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Medical disclaimer

All calculators and results on Vitals are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health or fitness decisions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vitals after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
